BARRON (BARON), Joseph Edward (1859–1905)

Joseph Edward Baron was born on September 8, 1859. He commenced work with the PWD Rail Construction Branch on April 20, 1891, and was promoted to Assistant Engineer on November 1, 1892. On October 1, 1898 he entered the service of the Railways Department Works and Way Branch.

Joseph Baron died June 20, 1905 when he was an Assistant Engineer with the WAGR. His most prominent work was finalising the plans for the William Street Rail Bridge.
