ENGINEERING HERITAGE TOURS
Introduction
All Engineering Heritage State Branches have produced walking/driving tours of various locations, particularly for the central business districts of each State's capital cities. Booklets for these tours are intended to provide viewers with the ability to be self guided. Maps are included in the booklets. While tours generally start at a specific location, the route is circular and walkers can start and finish anywhere along the route.
For Sydney, Hobart, Perth and Fremantle, the tours have been developed as an online map with detailed information and images about each site. These online maps are designed for use with a tablet or mobile phone and requires internet access while exploring the tour. Tap on any individual site number to learn about that site.
