Walter Fielder-Gill (1923 - 2010)

Walter Fielder-Gill was born on 23 June 1923. He was a telecommunications and electronics engineer, formerly an RAAF radar officer in Papua New Guinea. During the war he worked on he development of radar. He was a Telecom Divisional Engineer; General Manager and a Director of Plessey Australia Pty. Ltd. (Telecommunications), He was a chairman, director and consultant to other companies. He was a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia and a Fellow of the Institution of Radio and Electronic Engineers, Australia.
